Methodology & substantiation

How we calculate our numbers.

Every number on this site has a source, a sample, and a refresh date. This page documents them — for transparency, for compliance, and so any visitor can see exactly what's behind the claim.

150,000+ families served since 2018

Source: internal CRM (TLD)Sample: all enrolled membersLast updated: 2026-Q1

Cumulative count of distinct households for whom WWIA LLC (dba SilverEdge Insurance Advisors) has bound at least one ACA Marketplace, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, or Part D policy from January 1, 2018 through the most recent quarter close. Counted at the household level (one household = one "family") regardless of how many individual policies the household holds. Figure rounds to the nearest 5,000. Source data: TLD CRM enrolled-policy ledger; reconciled quarterly with carrier commission statements.

4.9 average rating 1,847 verified reviews

Source: internal post-enrollment survey + Trustpilot (when wired)Sample: 1,847 reviews from members enrolled 2023–presentLast updated: rolling, calculated nightly

Mean of all 1–5 star reviews collected in our automated post-enrollment satisfaction survey, sent 14 days after policy bind. Each review is tied to a verified enrollment in our CRM. Reviews from members who later disenrolled within 30 days are excluded to filter coercion. The 4.9 figure rounds to one decimal. The full distribution and per-month rolling average is available on request from [email protected].

$380 average monthly savings ACA subsidy-eligible members

Source: internal subsidy-applied vs. unsubsidized benchmarkSample: 8,400 ACA enrollments, 2024–2025 plan yearsLast updated: annually after Open Enrollment close

Mean monthly difference between the unsubsidized benchmark Silver plan premium for the household (per the federal benchmark schedule for the household's ZIP code, age, and household size) and the actual premium the member pays after Advance Premium Tax Credit (APTC) is applied. Calculated only for members who qualified for and accepted APTC. Members with $0 net premium are included in the average and pull it upward; mean is reported, not median (median is $312/mo). Sample limited to enrollments where the comparison data was complete (8,400 of approximately 14,800 ACA enrollments in the period).

$1,840 average first-year Medicare savings switched-plan members

Source: internal pre/post plan-change comparisonSample: 3,200 Medicare members who switched plans during AEP 2024 or AEP 2025Last updated: after each AEP close

Mean of (annualized total cost of new plan) minus (annualized total cost of prior plan) where total cost = monthly premium × 12 + applicable Part D drug costs at the member's prescription list + expected primary-care and specialist copays based on the member's prior-year utilization. Calculated only for members who switched plans during AEP at our recommendation. Members for whom we recommended staying on their existing plan are excluded from the savings denominator. Includes both Medicare Advantage and Medigap switches. Per-cohort breakdown available on request.

40+ carriers represented

Source: internal carrier-appointment ledgerSample: active appointments onlyLast updated: rolling, validated monthly

Count of distinct insurance carrier organizations with which WWIA LLC holds an active selling appointment in at least one state. "Organization" counts at the parent company level (e.g., UnitedHealthcare and AARP-branded UHC plans count as one). Excludes carriers we are appointed to but have not actively sold in the prior 12 months. Full list available on request and partially displayed on the Medicare and ACA pages.

~14 minute average callback business hours

Source: internal Twilio queue + advisor connect logsSample: rolling 90-day window of inbound callback requestsLast updated: calculated nightly

Median elapsed time between callback request submission (form post timestamp) and first outbound advisor dial during stated business hours (Mon–Fri 8am–8pm ET, Sat 9am–2pm ET). After-hours requests are not included in this average — they are separately tracked for next-business-day SLA. Excludes requests where the contact phone number was invalid. During AEP and OEP peak (Oct 15 – Jan 15) the median rises to ~22 minutes due to volume.

~14 minute average enrollment first-call to bind

Source: internal call-recording timestamps + carrier bind confirmationsSample: single-call enrollments only (about 70% of total)Last updated: calculated quarterly

Median elapsed time on first call between call connect and successful policy bind confirmation from the carrier, for enrollments completed during a single phone call. Multi-call enrollments (where the member calls back later to finalize) are excluded — those average roughly 38 minutes of total advisor talk time across the calls. Excludes enrollments requiring carrier underwriting (most Medigap), which can take days for medical-question review.
